KAVC IN BRIEF

Welcome to the Home of Kampala Amateur Volleyball Club. Kampala Amateur Volleyball Club (KAVC) founded in 1970 is a voluntary organization majoring in sports, social and community development. The club is physically located at Lugogo sports complex the head quarters of the National Council of Sports. It has been promoting the game of volleyball in Uganda and the region at large, and has developed fulfilling people in values , that's in few words "build the body and mind".
With a membership of over 200 persons (over half active players) of broad age range,it is affiliated to several organizations including Uganda Volleyball Federation, National Council of Sports, Uganda Olympic Committee and has continuously expanded its associates and reach.

KAVC strives to sustain its initiatives while living within its means. We cherish Democracy, Collective responsibility, voluntarism, transparency, accountability and positive social concern. We shall always look forward to new opportunities and challenges.
